Team/Group Camps & Tours

 3 Week Intensive Camp (July 2-22, 2009):

Teams and groups are welcome to attend the three week intensive camp together. There are clear and inherent advantages to a team training and living together for 3 weeks:

  • Many national and club teams use this model to prepare for major tournaments and league play.
  • Most high schools have strict rules regulating the start date of preseason training and severely limit the amount of training they can receive from their coaches and anyone associated with the team---La Academia de Futbol Internacional is the perfect way to circumvent such restrictions in a legal, sanctioned, and acceptable manner.
  • The advantage gained by having a team travel, live, and train together for three weeks is immense and will provide an enormous advantage when the season begins---you will be much fitter, tighter technically, more cohesive, more organized, and much more “match savvy” than your rivals.
  • Imagine having your team trained by some of the nation’s best college coaches while living together and competing against foreign competition. If you want to possess an insurmountable advantage over your rivals, there simply is no better option than 3 weeks of training, playing, and living together.
  • Team and group discounts are offered.
  • Coaches receive one free week in Puerto Vallarta to observe their team training and playing.

College, Club, ODP, and High School Team Tours to Mexico:

  • Achieve all your goals and objectives of travel and competing abroad WITHOUT the heavy price tag of traveling to Europe or South America---your players, parents, and athletic director will appreciate it!
  • Compare prices! We can provide your team a 7-10 day tour that will likely be $1000 or more dollars LESS than a European or South American tour.
  • Team tours can be arranged anytime during the year: Thanksgiving break, Christmas break, Spring break, or anytime during the summer.
  • Coaches travel FREE!
  • Team tours begin and end in Puerto Vallarta. Each tour is customized to your goals, objectives, and needs.
  • The majority of your training and games will take place in Guadalajara against major clubs such as Chivas, Tecos, Atlas, Provedencia, and La Universidad de Monterrey Technologia (2007 University champions).
  • You will stay at the beautiful Hotel Real de Chapala Hotel on Lake Chapala (WWW.REALDECHAPALA.COM). The hotel has professionally maintained soccer fields for training. Guadalajara’s major clubs stay at the Real de Chapala Hotel when preparing for major games, league play, and tournaments.
  • Guadalajara is the destination for many MLS clubs preparing for competition.
  • Choose from a variety of fun, meaningful daytime excursions and cultural experiences. Some examples are: visits to an orphanage, the town of Tequila, Atlas and Chivas soccer clubs, downtown historical district, Ballet Folklorico, Lake Chapala boat tours, horseback riding, indigenous artisan communities, and more…..

3 full weeks of mentoring and training by some of the nation’s best coaches in a unique geographic and cultural environment.
